Group Therapy Services | Rochester | UR Medicine Skip to content Overview Our Group Therapy Services offer an array of group-based treatments to persons 18 years and older. Prior to starting group therapy, the group members each meet individually with the group therapist, who provides information about the group and what to expect. In group therapy sessions, a small number of people (usually eight) meet weekly under the guidance of a professionally trained group therapist.
