Alchemy Counseling

I have chosen the term alchemy to represent my counseling practice because the ancient metaphor of transformation speaks to me as a therapist. Be it one of perception, behavior, or emotional response, this shift that occurs as a result of the work we do together in therapy is what I refer to as the alchemy of counseling.
