Who We Are – HeartLand Child & Family Services to offer hope and wellness to the underserved in our community DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES MISSION STATEMENT HeartLand is committed to Doing Whatever It Takes to cultivate resiliency and wellness in families and to empower them to meet life challenges with strength and confidence. HeartLand strives to be a strong advocate in the community to overcome the stigma associated with living with mental illness and homelessness. We understand that until the basic needs for shelter, food security and safety are met, children and their families have limited emotional stamina available to fully engage in supportive services addressing other needs.
