My experience tells me that simple things make therapy rewarding - things like feeling understood, having a neutral environment that is client focused, and working with a genuinely curious and engaged therapist. I have two degrees in Human Development and a wide variety of experience working in various fields before becoming a therapist in my mid 30's.
