Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician-LSW/LPC (Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team at Scope Health and Wellness, at our Cincinnati location. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and case management services to diverse client populations. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and social challenges, fostering resilience and recovery. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 coding standards.
• Deliver individual and group sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to client needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions for clients with various autism emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Manage case coordination by developing personalized treatment plans, tracking progress through EMR/EHR systems, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support and safety planning for clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including qualified mental health specialists QMHS) and community agencies to deliver holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical confidentiality policies while supporting ongoing research initiatives or data collection efforts.

Skills

• Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health interventions.
• Strong background working with children, adolescents, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses (ICD-9/10 codes) and CPT coding practices.
• Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluation for various conditions like autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities.
• Experience working in community care environments is highly desirable.
• Skilled in crisis management techniques with the ability to handle urgent situations effectively.
• Capable of applying evidence-based practices with youth.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, documentation accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
