Urgently Hiring PCIT Certified LPC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT-Norman Location

Overview

We are urgently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and certified mental health professional to join our team at our Norman location. This role is ideal for licensed clinicians who hold certifications such as LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) with PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) certification. As a vital member of our behavioral health team, you will provide evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families, fostering positive outcomes through innovative therapy approaches. Duties

• Deliver high-quality psychotherapy and clinical counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavior management techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards, to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) with children and their families to improve parent-child relationships and address behavioral challenges.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for all clients.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress or trauma.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, including progress notes, treatment plans, medical records, and billing documentation using EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and PTSD care.
• Participate in ongoing research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to clinical research projects.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
• Certification in PCIT from an accredited provider is required; additional certifications such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), art therapy, dance/movement therapy, or psychodynamic therapy are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and youth populations across outpatient, inpatient, or clinic settings.
• Strong knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation standards and treatment planning within electronic medical records systems.
• Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Skilled in crisis management techniques including de-escalation strategies for behavioral health crises.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health assessments and patient care processes.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams providing case management support for individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling is highly desirable.
