Therapist (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW)

Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Duties:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and crisis intervention techniques (knowledge of play therapy a plus).
• Provide care coordination and support to clients, collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals as needed.
• Establish and maintain appropriate and timely clinical case records, including, but not limited to, treatment plans, progress notes and treatment plan reviews.
• Meet and collaborate with director regarding cases as indicated according to NY state law for supervision requirements (depending on level of licensure) or as needed.

-Establish client appointments and manage scheduling for client sessions.

Skills:

• Possess a valid license as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (including limited permit) in the state of NY.
• Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and crisis intervention strategies (knowledge of play therapy a plus).
• Dependable self-starter, able to work independently.

Conscious Psychotherapy, LCSW, P.C. is expanding and is currently looking to hire a qualified mental health professional to join our growing private practice!

About the position:

-It is a fee for service, W2 position.

-Candidates must see a clients a minimum of 2 days a week. The position is hybrid, which includes seeing clients in person, at the office on Fridays and one remote day of your choice (with the option of additional remote days if desired).

-Includes clinical supervision towards licensure and for the "R" priveledge credential (For LCSW's) New grads encouraged to apply!
