Therapist/Counselor LCSW-BACS

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist/Counselor who holds a LCSW license with the designation of Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS) in the state of Louisiana to join our team. The position may be worked remote or in office at any of the locations. We are hiring part-time and full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clinical therapy setting, particularly with adults, couples, children and families. This role involves providing therapeutic support utilizing various counseling techniques to promote mental health and well-being. The Therapist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy/counseling for adults, couples, children, and families.
• Provide supervision
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities to address client needs.
• Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to encourage patient participation in their treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic coding standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing research initiatives to enhance therapeutic practices within the clinic.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health issues.

Skills

• Strong background in clinical counseling.
• Able to provide supervision.
• Experience with adult, couples, child, and family counseling approaches.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques or other practices.
• Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and families.
• Strong organizational skills for managing patient records and documentation accurately.
• Commitment to providing compassionate client care in a clinical environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,115.00 - $71,605.00 per year
