Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Deliver specialized counseling services including trauma care for PTSD, grief counseling, addiction counseling, chronic pain management, and gender issues counseling.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and behavioral health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts for patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or complex medical needs such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
• Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to data collection and analysis to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Skills

• Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and social work practices.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing and crisis management to effectively support clients through challenging situations.
• Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities, and diverse populations such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
• Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation.
• Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Ability to conduct intake assessments and perform diagnostic evaluations efficiently.
• Skills in group therapy facilitation and direct support roles within outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Competence in managing complex cases involving trauma (PTSD), addiction recovery, grief processing, or gender-related issues counseling.
