```Duties``` - Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups - Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop treatment plans - Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and crisis management - Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing mental health issues - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Provide education and support to clients' families regarding mental health issues and treatment options ```Requirements``` - Master's degree in counseling or related field - Licensure or certification as a counselor (e.g., LPC, LMHC) - Experience working with individuals with special education needs, developmental disabilities, or PTSD is preferred - Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus - Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Proficiency in medical documentation and patient care Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
