About Us

Revive Counseling Spokane (RCS) is a trauma-informed Behavioral Health Agency dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome challenges related to trauma, justice-system involvement, and navigating housing and recovery. We offer mental health counseling, peer support, substance-use disorder treatment, and FCS supportive housing and employment. Our clinical team works closely with Peer Navigators, SUD providers, and case managers to provide wraparound care for our clients living in transitional housing and shelter settings, court diversion programs, and reentering the community after incarceration.

Job Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician/Clinical Social Worker provides trauma-informed, person-centered counseling and case management to adolescents, adults, and families. This role involves assessing client needs, developing, and implementing treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, coordinating care with community and medical providers, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards. The clinician supports client growth, symptom reduction, and overall well-being while upholding ethical and professional responsibilities. Essential Functions

• Provide mental health counseling services that are medically necessary, timely, appropriate, and consistent with generally accepted mental health services and counseling practices to adolescents, adults, children and families with DSM diagnoses including but not limited to depressive-related disorders, anxiety-related disorders, PTSD, bipolar I & II, co-occurring disorders, and cluster B personality disorders.
• Implement evidenced based treatments including but not limited to EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT, TR-CBT, MI, SFBT, additional mindfulness-based interventions, Bio Feedback & Narrative Therapy.
• Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment and HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare and maintain treatment records and reports.
• Maintain timely documentation as required by RCS.
• Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies to decrease symptoms, heal, and function.
• Collect information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests.
• Develop and implement mutual treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
• Act as a client advocate to coordinate additional services or resolving emergency/crisis situations.
• Provide all direct and indirect care as necessary and required.
• Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources.
• Provide coordination and collaboration with community professionals including primary care, medical and medication management on behalf of clients.
• Attend all supervisions/trainings/and company staff meetings as required by RCS.
• Provide psychoeducation on diagnoses, trauma, and development.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Supply a personalized professional disclosure statement to RCS that will be used in intake paperwork and wherever else may be required.
• Complete all continuing education credits as required for licensure.
• Avoid providing any experimental and or investigational services.
• Comply with applicable law and the ethical standards of one’s profession.
• Complete all paperwork associated with RCS ability to seek reimbursement from 3rd party payers and audit requirements.
• Maintain professionalism and emotional intelligence during work hours; in office, out in the community, staff meetings, and events.
• Complete minimum of 60% direct services weekly and maintain a caseload minimum of 30 individuals monthly.

• Expertise or training in motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, strengths, and empowerment perspectives.
• Ability to manage and operate electronic medical record keeping software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software programs.
• Possess strong organizational skills with ability to meet a demanding workload
• Detail oriented to complete requirements of files and contract compliance.
• Concentrated record keeping, budgeting, and mathematical skills; ability to produce required reports to federal, state, and local government agencies and funding sources
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources, social service agencies, and medical care facilities
• Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of population served
• A conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change
• The ability to establish and set appropriate limits with persons served to help them gain skills and confidence
• The ability to work collaboratively with other personnel and/or service providers or professionals
• The capacity to maintain a role to empower clients and to intervene appropriately to meet service goals

Qualifications

• Must already have an active LICSW(A), LMHC(A), or LMFT(A) licensure in Washington State.
• Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (WAC 246-341-0515 compliant).
• Two or more years experience preferred.
• Passion for trauma-informed, person-centered care approaches.
• Experience in evidence-based interventions (e.g., EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, MI).
• Must have a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
