Seeking Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW; In-Person/Telehealth Hybrid)

About the Position

Pride Mental Health is an established outpatient mental health agency providing counseling and medication management services throughout Idaho.

We're currently looking for one Idaho-licensed LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC to join our clinical team.

Whether you're recently licensed and looking for the right place to begin building your career, or you're an experienced clinician looking for an environment that offers more flexibility, communication, and support, we'd like to hear from you.

Our clinicians provide individual and/or family counseling based on their experience, interests, and scope of practice.

Therapy can be provided through secure telehealth throughout Idaho, in person from our Boise office, or through a combination of both.

A Note About Building Your Caseload

We believe in being transparent about this from the beginning.

We do not currently have a full-time caseload waiting to be assigned to a new clinician on day one.

Pride Mental Health actively generates referrals and works to help our clinicians develop their caseloads. However, building the right caseload takes time.

Depending on your availability, scheduling preferences, populations served, and current referral needs, developing your desired caseload may take several weeks and, in some cases, a few months.

For someone looking for part-time work, this can provide considerable flexibility. For someone ultimately interested in full-time work, we want you to understand that this is an opportunity to build toward a full-time caseload, rather than a promise that one will be immediately available.

We'd rather be clear about that before you apply than create an expectation we can't guarantee.

Compensation

$32.00–$35.00 per billable hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional reimbursement is provided for qualifying administrative work such as CDAs, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and other designated documentation.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a clinician who takes their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously—someone who values clients, communicates well, follows through on commitments, and understands the importance of being part of a team.

You should be comfortable working independently while also being willing to communicate, consult, and collaborate when appropriate.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone prepared to serve clients ethically, professionally, compassionately, and consistently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide professional outpatient mental health counseling within your scope of practice.
• Assess clients' psychosocial, emotional, behavioral, and cultural needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate clinical interventions.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy as appropriate.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate with other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and licensure standards.
• Collaborate with Pride Mental Health team members while also working effectively and independently.
• Provide respectful and competent services to a diverse client population.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold an active Idaho LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC license.
• Hold a graduate degree in counseling, social work, or another applicable clinical discipline.
• Maintain professional liability insurance.
• Be willing and able to complete the required criminal history background check through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
• Maintain all applicable professional and licensure requirements.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, ethical judgment, and effective communication.
• Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a clinical team.

You must be licensed in Idaho, but you do not have to live in the Treasure Valley if you intend to provide services through telehealth.
