Be Well Kinda Place LLC is expanding as we open our second location in Kingwood, West Virginia. We are launching a new school-based counseling program in Preston County, and this role will be a key part of building our presence in the community and connecting students with accessible, high-quality mental health care.

Position: School-Based Licensed Therapist

Location: Preston County Schools – Kingwood, WV (in-person required)

Schedule: Full-time; one day per week at each school within the district; summers off; position begins August 2026

Compensation: $40–$55 per session (based on experience and licensure)

Requirements: Must hold a valid West Virginia license (LICSW, LGSW, LCSW, or LPC) and a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, as required by WV state regulations. Candidates must be able to work in person within school settings and commit to a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities: Provide individual counseling services to children and adolescents within the school system, working with ages ranging from young children to teenagers. Collaborate with school staff to support student mental health needs, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, and help establish and grow our presence in the Kingwood community.

This is our first school-based program and an exciting opportunity to be part of something new. The therapist in this role will play a vital part in shaping how services are delivered in Preston County and expanding access to care for local students.
