Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and medical terminology.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Deliver specialized mental health interventions including crisis management, PTSD care, addiction counseling, autism support, and Alzheimer's care.
• Coordinate case management activities, including intake procedures, patient assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care in home, hospital, or community settings.
• Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development.
• Collaborate with medical professionals on psychiatric patient care, psychopharmacology considerations, and medical records review to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children and adolescents in mental health or behavioral health settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and social work interventions.
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, substance use disorders, or other disabilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records) and medical documentation standards including ICD-10/ICD coding for diagnostic evaluation purposes.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols within school district settings.
• Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds to provide culturally competent mental health services.
• Background in medical social work or clinical counseling within hospital or community healthcare settings is preferred.
