Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intake evaluations using clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapeutic techniques, motivational interviewing, art therapy, dance therapy, and social work approaches.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies, crisis management protocols, and trauma-informed care to ensure client safety and stability.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and patient care coordination for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with medical terminology updates, ICD coding changes, and advancements in evidence-based practices for behavioral health.

Experience

• Licensed mental health professional with active licensure in good standing for remote practice.
• Proven experience delivering psychotherapy through telehealth platforms with familiarity in telehealth therapy best practices.
• Demonstrated expertise working with adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
• Strong background in clinical counseling techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused interventions.
• Experience conducting mental health assessments using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology understanding, and documentation standards aligned with clinical research requirements.
• Familiarity with inpatient/outpatient settings or clinic experience is advantageous; experience working with individuals with autism or special education needs is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical records management and compliance standards including HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
