Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Company Description Reunion Health is an entirely virtual private mental health counseling practice serving clients in South Carolina and North Carolina. The practice is co-founded by a U.S. military Veteran and a triple Board-Certified Psychiatrist, bringing diverse clinical and lived experience to client care. Reunion Health focuses on accessible, high-quality telemental health services for adults and teens. The team prioritizes evidence-based care, ethical practice, and a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.

Role Description This remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor role is a contract position providing virtual counseling services to clients located in South Carolina. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments and individual counseling sessions (to ages 16-64) via a secure telehealth platform, while also developing and updating treatment plans aligned with client diagnosis and goals. The contractor will engage in ongoing case management, coordination of care with other providers, and timely documentation. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining licensure requirements, participating in case consultations, and upholding professional, ethical, and regulatory standards across all clinical work. The contractor is in full control of their work schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (or equivalent independent practice license) for greater than two years in South Carolina.
• Master's Degree in counseling or related field.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Ability to develop and implement effective Treatment Planning tailored to diverse client needs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed care.
• Passed the NMHCE or passed the NCE prior to January 2017.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
