Clinical Therapist Job Description

Pleasure Bay Wellness is a small remote private practice that opened in 2022 in South Boston. We are looking to grow our team to help increase access to mental health services for people in our community and throughout the state of Massachusetts.

We’re looking for licensed clinicians who are passionate about providing thoughtful, individualized care and are excited about the flexibility of working remotely. Our goal is to create an environment where clinicians can build a caseload that aligns with their interests, strengths, and professional goals. Any candidates who specialize in working with adolescents are strongly encouraged to apply.

As part of our team, clinicians will provide telehealth therapy services to clients who are a good fit for their areas of expertise and approach to care. We value clinicians who are motivated, organized, communicative, and committed to creating meaningful connections with the people they serve.

Clinicians will join our practice as independent contractors, allowing for greater autonomy and flexibility in how they structure their work.

Requirements

• Current State of Massachusetts license as a LMHC, LICSW
• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Social Work
• Individual liability insurance
• A Computer and reliable internet connection
• A professional, confidential work environment

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Perform remote clinical counseling services to patients of Pleasure Bay Wellness
• Be properly licensed and abide by all Massachusetts laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Pleasure Bay Wellness
• Keep state license and CAQH profile current.
• Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made by phone, voicemail, email or referral from Pleasure Bay Wellness
• Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary
• Timely complete written documents for patient including but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by Pleasure Bay Wellness
• Other duties may be assigned

Starting Hourly Salary: $85/ session or $95/ session for 20+ clients weekly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
