Connections Child & Family Center is a specialty group practice serving children, teens, and families across the north Houston area. Our deepest demand right now is young children, and we will not refer them to clinicians who do talk therapy at a kid-sized table and call it play therapy. We want the real thing.

The role

• A caseload of children under 12, referred to you because this is what you do
• A fully equipped playroom, with a $1,500 startup budget to build the room your work deserves. Kid clinicians get office space here, always.
• Per-session W-2 compensation with a 15-hour weekly floor and a benefits ladder tied to volume
• Weekly case consultation with a team that specializes in child and family work

The pay, stated plainly

Flat clinical hour plus paid admin time and paid meetings, W-2.

We pay differentials for bilingual Spanish clinicians, and RPT.

Why this practice

• Referral flow is real. Pediatricians in this area know us for child work. You will not sit with an empty calendar.
• Working toward RPT? Our training fund pays for qualifying training, and the differential starts when your credential does.

You

• LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Texas. Strong associates considered, with papered supervision through our training program.
• RPT, or meaningful play therapy training and the intent to pursue it
• You genuinely like working with little kids, and their parents
• After-school, evening, or weekend availability is needed. Kids come when school lets out.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
