Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Duties

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes.
  • Provide specialized counseling for issues including PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology when appropriate and adhere to HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and records management.
  • Engage in clinical research activities, data collection, and analysis to support continuous improvement of mental health services.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote patient assessments and therapy sessions while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional with relevant state credentials.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or art/dance therapies.
  • Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical records documentation.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays.
  • Knowledge of social work principles, case management practices, and outpatient/inpatient clinical settings.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling.
  • Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt clinical skills for virtual environments.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
