Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, art therapy, and trauma-focused approaches.
• Employ crisis intervention techniques to manage urgent situations effectively and ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and patient confidentiality.

Skills

• Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and addiction counseling.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Skilled in crisis management, behavior management, grief counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and EMR/EHR systems for medical records management.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics or individuals with co-occurring disorders in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse populations including those facing gender issues or chronic pain challenges.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
