Job Summary

Jennifer Harris PsyD & Associates is a private practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using evidence-based, behavioral therapies. We are seeking a part-time psychotherapist who is passionate about helping clients overcome anxiety and OCD through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other cognitive behavioral approaches.

Our practice serves adolescents and adults experiencing OCD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, phobias, health anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, and related conditions. While our team includes clinicians with specialties in trauma, couples, and other areas, we are intentionally expanding our Anxiety and OCD specialty services to meet growing community demand.

We are looking for a clinician who genuinely enjoys working with anxiety and OCD presentations, values evidence-based practice, and wants to continue growing their expertise alongside a collaborative team.

Position Details

This is a 1099 independent contractor position beginning part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload if desired.

Services may be provided through a hybrid model of in-person and telehealth appointments. We currently have a strong demand for in-person afternoon, evening, and weekend availability.

Expected part-time caseload: approximately 12–15 client sessions per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy to adolescents and adults using evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver treatment grounded in ERP, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in consultation and ongoing professional development.
• Practice with professionalism, clinical curiosity, and a commitment to high-quality care.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions effectively while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols when clients experience acute distress or suicidal ideation.
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, medical records, and ICD coding for billing purposes in EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Active Illinois license (Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT), fully-licensed applicants only
• Professional liability insurance.
• Demonstrated experience providing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders.
• Interested in expanding knowledge/training in ERP
