Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered psychotherapy tailored to each patient's diagnosis, goals, and clinical needs.
- Provide longer-term psychotherapy for patients with ongoing mental health concerns.
- Deliver short-term, solution-focused treatment for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) referrals, as applicable.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy based on training, experience, and patient needs.
- Serve a diverse patient population with professionalism, cultural responsiveness, and respect.
- Monitor patient progress, update treatment plans, and adjust interventions as clinically indicated.
- Participate in clinical supervision, peer review, consultation, and ongoing clinical team staffing.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation in accordance with applicable DHS 35 requirements and established practice procedures.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant standards in all aspects of patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Current, unrestricted Wisconsin licensure as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD, as applicable)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Experience utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Strong understanding of diverse psychological needs and evidence-based behavioral health interventions.
- Experience treating substance use disorders preferred, but not required.
- Experience providing couples therapy preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a clinical team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete clinical documentation promptly.
- Motivated, dependable, and self-directed professional.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
