IMPACT Psychological Services is a thriving group practice specializing in integrative psychotherapy with offices in Fishkill, NY and Mamaroneck, NY. We serve clients across the lifespan with a flexible, responsive treatment approach that puts the client first. Our services include individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as groups, psychoeducational testing, parent coaching, and more. Job Overview

We are seeking to hire a full-time (35-40 hrs/week) generalist psychotherapist - licensed psychologist, licensed mental health counselor, licensed creative arts therapist, licensed social worker, or licensed marriage and family therapist - in our Mamaroneck, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions with children, adolescents, and adults utilizing techniques such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and DBT
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with families and educational institutions to support the mental health and development of clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a NY licensed psychologist, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, or LMFT (supervision for those seeking full licensure is provided)
• Expertise working with children (3-12) and adolescents (12+) is a must
• Must be available to work some evenings or weekend hours
• Commitment to working with clients across the lifespan
• Motivated, self-starter with a great attitude, flexibility, and enterprising spirit
• Ability to work under pressure to prioritize and manage workload, manage simultaneous tasks and meet deadlines within a fast-paced and changing environment
• Team player and ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with clients and other clinicians in the practice
• Flexibility with work schedule to meet productivity goals and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally the applicant will have experience with child play therapy, family therapy and working with adults in individual therapy
• Experience integrating multiple treatment modalities including is a plus
• Previous experience working within diverse populations is preferred

• Up to $1,000 in training reimbursement annually
• Weekly group supervision for psychotherapy, groups and testing is a core component of our group practice community.
• Multiple opportunities for supervision and consultation are offered
• IMPACT also offers regular didactics on a wide range of topics and CE credits for psychologists and social workers are provided.
• Training and certification in providing psychological assessments for asylum seekers is also provided through our partnership with the Physicians for Human Rights.
• Training and coaching using deliberate practice is also available.

Applicants will first be asked to complete a brief online screening survey to assess match to company culture and job requirements. Qualified candidates will then be contacted. Licensed psychologist applications will be asked to provide a de-identified sample testing report. The second phase of the hiring process will ask for 2 references from individuals familiar with the applicant's clinical skills, so applicants should be prepared to submit those later in the process.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
