Mental Health Clinician, Contract

A professional license is not required. We welcome qualified clinicians who need supervised clinical hours to pursue licensure in New York.
Schedule Requirements
This is a flexible, part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work on weekday evenings between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Weekend hours are availible as well.
Candidates must also be comfortable working with children and adolescents, including children ages 5 and older.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual mental health services to clients
- Assess and interpret client behavior and presenting concerns
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with supervisors and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in clinical supervision and professional development
- Provide services to children, adolescents, and other assigned populations
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or a closely related field
- Eligibility to provide supervised mental health services in New York
- Willingness and ability to work with children ages 5 and older
- Availability to work three weekday evenings
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
