Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor or Social Worker (PLPC/PLSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
• Work in outpatient setting doing 1-1 and group therapy and notes.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies, crisis management protocols, and trauma-informed care to ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and EMR/EHR systems for seamless record keeping.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and coordination of care for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs.

Qualifications

• Current provisional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential; eligible for full licensure within the state’s timeline.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, etc
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Knowledge of crisis management procedures, trauma-focused interventions, addiction counseling techniques, and gender issues counseling is a plus.
• Commitment to ethical practice in accordance with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations; strong organizational skills for treatment planning and data collection.

Pay: $49,919.48 - $65,000.00 per year
