Position Overview

We are seeking provisionally licensed clinicians (PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW) working toward full licensure who are driven to make a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care, continuously developing their clinical skills, and utilizing evidence-based theoretical approaches. We offer flexible scheduling and have afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts to choose from.

Clinicians must

• Be currently licensed to practice in Louisiana as a PLPC, PLMFT, or LMSW and working toward full licensure
• Be committed to building strong clinical skills in diagnosis, assessment, and treatment
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Be comfortable with electronic records and the use of technology
• Stay up to date with current research and best practices
• Be able to work independently

Clinicians will be responsible for

• Providing clinical counseling services to clients of Hope & Healing Counseling through the use of evidence-based therapies
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as primary care physicians and psychiatrists, to coordinate comprehensive care
• Demonstrating reliability and consistency by maintaining a regular schedule and ensuring timely attendance for all client sessions and meetings

Required education

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in a counseling-related field

Required license or certification

• PLPC, PLMFT, or LMSW
