Provisionally Licensed Counselor or Temporary Permit Counselor

Pyramid Counseling LLC is seeking a Part-Time Provisionally Licensed Counselor or Temporary Permit Counselor to join our team. This is a W-2 employee position designed for a counselor who is currently working toward full LPC licensure and is looking for a flexible opportunity to gain supervised clinical experience.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, flexible, and genuinely interested in working with a diverse client population.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group counseling services.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in required clinical supervision and maintain appropriate supervision records.
• Work with clients experiencing a variety of mental health and substance-use concerns.
• Facilitate DUI classes/groups.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with West Virginia requirements.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Flexible scheduling available
• Opportunity for additional hours based on client needs and office availability
• Must be available to work weekday hours and occasionally weekends

Qualifications

• Current West Virginia Provisionally Licensed Counselor status or Temporary Permit Counselor status
• Master's degree in Counseling or related qualifying field
• Must be eligible to practice under West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling supervision requirements
• Must be willing to participate in required clinical supervision
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Dependable and professional
• Experience with substance-use treatment, mental health counseling, or co-occurring disorders is a plus
