Overview:
Lone Star Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced PRN Weekend Inpatient Clinical Therapist to join our behavioral health team. This role is responsible for providing group and individual therapy to adult patients in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group therapy using evidence-based practices
- Conduct individual therapy sessions as needed
- Provide assessments for patients requesting AMA discharge
- Document clinical services in accordance with JCAHO/CMS/TAC standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members as needed
- Maintain ethical and clinical boundaries
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Active Texas licensure (LPC, LCSW, LPC-A, LMSW under supervision)
- 1+ year inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
- Strong skills in crisis intervention and clinical documentation
- Available to work at least one weekend per month
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
