BayPoint Health is a progressive outpatient mental health practice serving the Seacoast New Hampshire community. We specialize in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Day Treatment, Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Counseling. Our mission is to deliver holistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care that supports individuals on their path to mental wellness and recovery.

We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Primary Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis, 24 hours per week. The Primary Therapist carries a caseload of individual clients, facilitates group therapy, and partners with our psychiatric and clinical staff to develop and carry out each client's treatment plan. This role is central to ensuring clients receive comprehensive, coordinated, and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to an assigned caseload and facilitate group therapy in IOP and Day Treatment.
• Collaborate with our PMHNP, admissions staff, and clinical team on treatment planning, case review, and discharge planning.
• Recognize and respond to psychiatric crises, completing risk assessments and safety plans as needed.
• Accurately complete clinical documentation in the EMR system, including progress notes and utilization review documentation.
• Contribute to a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed team environment through daily and weekly clinical staffings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• New Hampshire LCSW or LMHC licensure, or license-eligible
• Two or more years of experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with EMR systems
