Overview

Join Clear Mind Therapy as a Hybrid MFTC or LPCC (Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate or Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate). This is a W-2 position that combines the flexibility of telehealth with approximately one day per week of in-person therapy at our Denver office.

You will provide individual therapy to adults across Colorado, conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based psychotherapy in a supportive private practice environment.

The Role

This is a hybrid W-2 position, with the majority of sessions conducted via telehealth and approximately one day per week in person at:

2727 Bryant St.

Denver, CO 80211

You will provide individual therapy to a diverse adult client population using evidence-based approaches while receiving consistent clinical supervision and support.

What We Offer

• Paid Clinical Supervision: Weekly individual clinical supervision with an experienced LMFT who also holds a PsyD. Supervision time is paid at $20 per hour, allowing you to build toward independent licensure while being compensated for required supervision.
• Flexible Schedule: Clinicians are expected to complete a minimum of 20 client sessions per week, while maintaining significant flexibility in setting their hours and managing their calendars.
• Hybrid Work: The majority of your caseload can be conducted remotely, with approximately one day per week of in-person sessions at our Denver office.
• Administrative Support: We handle credentialing, billing, and initial intake coordination so you can focus on clinical work.
• Marketing & Referrals: We actively market your profile and provide referrals to help you build a caseload aligned with your clinical interests.
• Professional Branding: You will be featured on our practice website and marketed to prospective clients who may be a strong clinical fit.

Caseload Growth & Expectations

• We will build your caseload to 20–25 per week, typically over 1–2 months
• A minimum of 20 completed client sessions per week is expected once your caseload is established.
• Approximately one day per week of in-person availability is required.

This position is particularly well suited for a pre-licensed clinician seeking strong supervision, private practice experience, schedule flexibility, and a long-term professional home.

Requirements

• Licensure: Current and valid LPCC or MFTC registration in good standing with Colorado DORA.
• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Hybrid Availability: Ability to provide in-person therapy approximately one day per week at our Denver office.
• Technology: Comfortable using EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant environment are required for remote sessions.
• Professionalism: Strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, a positive attitude, and commitment to ethical and high-quality clinical care.

Compensation

• Completed Client Sessions: $38 per session
• Clinical Supervision & Required Administrative Work: $20 per hour
• Employment Status: W-2 employee

Duties

• Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5 criteria and ICD-10 coding.
• Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based clinical approaches.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards.
• Provide therapy through both telehealth and in-person settings.
• Complete progress notes and manage client records using our electronic health record system.

Clinical Skills

We welcome clinicians with experience or interest in evidence-based approaches including:

• CBT
• DBT
• Psychodynamic therapy
• IFS
• EFT
• Other evidence-based psychotherapy modalities

Strong rapport-building skills, clinical judgment, documentation skills, and a collaborative attitude are highly valued.
