Pediatric Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Part-Time

Dallas Pediatrics is an established, family-centered pediatric clinic developing an integrated behavioral-health program for children and adolescents. We are seeking a compassionate, fully licensed Texas LPC who is excited to provide pediatric therapy and help shape a growing program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral-health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
• Treat concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral challenges, school-related stress, and ADHD-related coping needs.
• Provide parent guidance and caregiver support.
• Complete risk assessments, safety plans, and appropriate referrals.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the pediatric medical team, schools, specialists, and community resources when appropriate.
• Help develop clinical workflows and resources for the new behavioral-health program.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas LPC license.
• Must be fully licensed; this position is not currently open to LPC Associates.
• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field.
• Experience providing therapy to children or adolescents.
• Availability to work in person 1–2 weekdays per week.
• Experience in evaluating patients for ASD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, etc.
• Ability to assess suicide risk and respond appropriately to behavioral-health emergencies.
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
• Individual Type 1 NPI or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to complete required Medicaid/CHIP and managed-care credentialing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of pediatric therapy experience.
• Experience with family therapy or parent-focused interventions.
• Experience with Texas Medicaid or CHIP.
• Existing CAQH profile.
• Training in play therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, PCIT, parent-management training, family therapy, or ADHD interventions.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.

Schedule and Growth

This position will begin part-time at 1–2 weekdays per week, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to expand as the program grows.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience, schedule, and final position structure.
