Duties

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs.
• Deliver individualcounseling sessions, IOP group, and employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies.
• Facilitate motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, including medical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology accuracy.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in electronic medical records, ensuring accuracy in medical records and adherence to CPT coding standards.
• Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to the ongoing development of effective treatment protocols for behavioral health conditions.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCDC III (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III), LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor), or equivalent credential required.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience with hospital or clinic environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques including trauma-informed care for PTSD, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Proficiency in crisis management, behavior management, social work practices, and patient assessment methods.
• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
• Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms; comfortable working remotely as needed.
• Ability to handle complex cases involving chronic pain counseling, gender issues counseling, pediatric care, geriatrics, or special education populations is desirable.

Position Overview

Quiet Waters Clinics LLC is seeking a part-time licensed therapist to join our team.

This role provides services within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), including group therapy, individual counseling, and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Candidates with dual experience in mental health and SUD are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions
• Provide individual counseling sessions
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Provide clinical support/supervision to CDCA staff (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Joint Commission, and state regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Active Ohio license in one of the following:
• LISW
• LSW
• LPCC
• LPC
• LCDC III
• LICDC
• CDCA
• Experience with:
• Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment
• Group therapy (IOP preferred)
• Mental health counseling (preferred)
• Strong clinical, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dual diagnosis (mental health + SUD)
• Experience in IOP or outpatient settings
• Supervisory experience or interest in leadership roles (If Applicable)

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
