At Family Workshop Counseling Center, we believe therapists should spend their time doing therapy — not chasing referrals, fighting with billing, or navigating administrative chaos.

We are one of the largest outpatient mental health providers in New Mexico, currently serving 400+ clients per week — and we have a steady waitlist of new clients ready to be scheduled.

We are expanding our Albuquerque team and are seeking licensed clinicians who want:

• Consistent referrals
• Administrative & billing support
• Competitive pay ($60–$70/hour)
• Flexibility in caseload size
• A stable, established practice environment

Compensation

• $60–$70 per clinical hour, based on weekly caseload
• Signing bonus available for qualified candidates
• Supervision opportunities for independently licensed clinicians
• Reliable, on-time payments
• Optional AI documentation support (reduces note-writing time)

We pay approximately $15/hour more than many local agencies.

Caseload Flexibility

• Minimum: 5 clients/week, at least one day of weekday evening availability and one weekend day availability
• Preferred: 10+ clients/week, three days of weekday evening availability and both Saturday and Sunday availability

You control your schedule. We provide the referrals.

What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient therapy (individual, family, or group)
• Conduct intakes and develop treatment plans
• Maintain documentation in accordance with NM guidelines
• Deliver high-quality, ethical clinical care
• Maintain your own progress notes and liability insurance.

Requirements

• Active New Mexico license (LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, PhD, PsyD)
• Master’s degree or higher
• Ability to provide in-person services in Albuquerque
• Professional liability insurance (1M/3M)
• Comfort with digital systems (TherapyNotes experience a plus)
• Bilinguial Spanish a HUGE plus!
