Oak & Stone Counseling is a growing private practice in Lafayette, LA seeking a therapist to join our team. While we specialize in women’s mental health, we also serve a range of populations and value clinicians who bring distinct clinical interests, specialties, or passion areas to their work. 1099 Position

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy to adolescents and/or adults (children experience a plus)
• Conduct comprehensive intakes and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation
• Utilize evidence-based interventions aligned with your theoretical orientation
• Manage a consistent caseload (part-time growing to full-time)
• Collaborate with referral sources and other providers as appropriate
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain licensure requirements
• Participate in occasional team consultation or case collaboration as needed

Requirements

• Active Louisiana license as LPC or LCSW
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Ability to practice independently within scope of licensure
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Commitment to timely and accurate documentation
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to maintain a consistent part-time caseload with growth toward full-time (10 hours minimum per week)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional development

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
