Carolina Blue Skies Counseling is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This is a part-time W-2 opportunity for a clinician who wants the flexibility of a manageable caseload while benefiting from the support and resources of an established group practice.

Clinicians must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 client sessions per week. Those who eventually want to increase their caseload and work toward full-time are welcome to do so, but there is no requirement or expectation to do so.

What We Offer

• $43–$55 per completed clinical hour, based on experience and weekly client volume
• $15/hour for approved administrative work, including clinical documentation outside of session time, website blog writing, community outreach, marketing initiatives, and other practice projects

• Flexible scheduling is available, including virtual and hybrid options; however, our primary need at this time is for a clinician who is available to see clients in the office.

Part-Time Caseload & Flexibility

A minimum commitment of 10 completed client sessions per week is required. Beyond that, clinicians have flexibility to determine the caseload and schedule that best fits their professional goals and availability. There is no expectation to immediately build a full-time caseload.. There is flexibility to grow your caseload beyond 10 clients based on your availability, professional goals, and client demand. Our tiered compensation structure allows clinicians to increase their clinical rate as weekly client volume increases.

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality outpatient mental health services to adults, children, adolescents, and/or families based on your clinical interests and areas of expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual therapy
• Completing clinical assessments
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborating with clients and other professionals when appropriate
• Participating as a supportive member of our clinical team

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related mental health field
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina independent clinical license, such as:
• LCMHC
• LCSW
• LMFT
• Equivalent independent clinical license
• Ability to provide services independently in North Carolina
• Commitment to ethical, client-centered care

Preferred experience or training includes

• Children, adolescents, and families
• Anxiety and OCD
• ADHD
• Trauma
• EMDR
• DBT
• Perinatal mental health
• Other specialized areas of clinical practice
