Part-time Counselor LPC-A, LMSW, LMFT-A

Hybrid Therapist (LPCA, LMSW, or LMFTA)

Location: Adorned Counseling Houston, TX (Hybrid: Primarily Telehealth + Required In-Office Sessions)

Availability: Evenings and Weekends (Saturday or Sunday)

We’re hiring a compassionate, motivated therapist to join the Adorned Counseling team. This is a hybrid role with both telehealth and in-person sessions. Applicants must be able to provide in-office therapy this is not a remote-only position.

We’re especially seeking someone with experience in:

• Working with children (ages 5–12) and their families
• Grief counseling, play therapy, family therapy, or sex therapy (preferred specializations that complement our existing services)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy (in-person and virtual)
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Offer skills training and therapeutic interventions for emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges
• Maintain timely, ethical, and culturally responsive documentation
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings as needed

Requirements

• Active LPCA, LMSW, or LMFTA license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (internship hours may count)
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Reliable home office setup with secure internet for telehealth
• Must be able to provide some in-office sessions each week

Preferred Skills

• Experience in play therapy, grief work, or sex therapy
• Ability to support diverse populations and manage high-risk or crisis situations
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Trauma-informed, strengths-based approach

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
