Part-Time: Certified School Counselor or Licensed Counselor

Overview

We are seeking certified or licensed provider in a counseling related field that desire part-time work serving youth under 18 years of age. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to fit the needs of the agency. While this position is noted as Atoka, there may be some provision of services required in Murray County . Applicants may note the area(s) for which they are applying.

Duties

• Facilitate in-person group counseling and individual sessions
• Family Counseling with youth and/or their family
• Facilitate group education utilizing a curriculum
• Engage with students, school staff, community members, funders, and agency staff in a respectful manner
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Complete monthly reports
• Engage with local partners to schedule sessions
• Collaborate with agency as well as community partners to plan youth programs, and community workshops.
• Ability to create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments
• Expertise in utilizing instructional materials
• Proven experience working with children and youth programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to participate in ZOOM meetings with camera and voice
• Ability to listen to instructions and guidance
• Ability to work independently and with integrity
• Maintain positive relationships with schools in multiple counties, and communities.
• Excellent understanding of confidentiality in various settings
• Must have School Counselor Certification, LPC, or LMFT.Must pass a background check.
• Must be able to comply with Alcohol/Drug Policy.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must have reliable transportation and give proof of insurance.
• Must have strong computer skills and understanding of protecting information.
