MindCare Solutions, a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking a LCSW/LPC to provide exceptional mental health services in a corrections facility. Location: Baldwin, MI (onsite)Compensation: $65 per hour, 1099### Position Summary

As a LCSW/LPC, you will deliver high-quality mental health care, including psychotherapy, psychological assessments, and evidence-based interventions, to individuals within a correctional setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health and rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals, ensuring care aligns with ethical and legal standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact while working in a supportive and mission-driven environment. Conducts psychological evaluations of inmates/detainees/residents (I/D/R) to diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

  • Develops and implements appropriate treatment plans, including psychotherapy and counseling services.
  • Assesses suicide risk and mental health status to determine the need for higher levels of care or observation.
  • Collaborates with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for medication management and referrals.
  • Supervises and trains mental health staff; provides in-service education and crisis intervention training for correctional and medical personnel.
  • Maintains thorough documentation of services and participates in quality-of-care reviews.

Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must hold an active, unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in the state of Michigan.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a correctional or forensic setting is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks and screening processes.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any facility-specific clearances or approvals required for the position.

The pay range for this role is

60 - 65 USD per hour(Baldwin, Michigan)
