Outpatient Therapist (residents encouraged (LPC, LCSW, LPC-S, LCSW-S)

Job Description-Outpatient Therapist

Reports to: CEO

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health therapy to various populations with the ability to use various clinical approaches such as CBT, SFT, DBT, ect.
• Complete clinical assessments
• Complete individual service plans while engaging the clients to create goals
• Complete quarterly reports to report progress towards created goals
• Complete service notes to document therapy session
• Engage in service coordination to ensure continuity of care, which may involve interacting with other service entities
• Maintain all applicable professional, legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality, dual relations, and informed consent.
• Provide documentation, reports, and records to meet State, Federal, Regional and departmental standards and requirements: Clear, organized, timely progress notes
• Provide outpatient therapy.

Skills and other functions

• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical formulations that clearly direct treatment considerations and focus
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, clinical treatment meetings and skills trainings/updates.
• Complete other assignments and tasks as directed by the director
• Computer literate

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Counselor
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Licensed Professional Counselor-supervisee (Resident In Counseling)

Other requirements

• Successful completion of criminal history background
• Successful completion of central registry check
• Successful completion of CPR and First Aid course

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
