Join a Mission-Driven Behavioral Health Team
Discovery Point Retreat is seeking an Outpatient Therapist (LCDC-i, LCDC, LPC, LPC-a, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or Ph.D. Psychology) to join our outpatient behavioral health treatment program in Dallas, Texas.
This position provides therapy and counseling services to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Responsibilities
Provide individual therapy for clients in outpatient treatment
Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational groups
Deliver evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and REBT
Complete biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans
Document therapy sessions and clinical progress notes in a timely manner
Collaborate with nursing staff, recovery coaches, and clinical leadership
Support discharge planning and continuity of care
Participate in individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Active Texas license or associate-level license:
- LCDC-i (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern)
- LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor)
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- LPC-a (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, with approved supervisor)
- LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
- LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- Ph.D. in Psychology
Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (or doctoral degree in Psychology)
Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or mental health preferred
Experience with evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, REBT) preferred
Experience facilitating group therapy preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills
Clinical supervision provided for associate-level licensees (LPC-a, LCDC-i)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
