Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Requirements:

-Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or similar field

-Active and unrestricted professional licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina (or license eligible)

-Able to pass criminal background check

-Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

-Provide biopsychosocial evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients

-Develop and monitor treatment plans

-Initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

-Willingness to work with practicum and/or intern students

Skills and Competencies:

-Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy

-Knowledge of community resources

-Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately

-Familiarity with the DSM V and diagnostic techniques

-Effective written and verbal communication skills

Additional Details:

-Ability to devise your own schedule (full or part-time)

-Supportive and professional work environment

-Full clinical caseload typically established within the first 120 days

-No on-call-shifts

-Access to fax, phone, scanner, and printer

-Access to fully supplied office materials for professional use

-Ample office space and furniture provided

-Full-time Office Manager/Receptionist on staff

-Office environment with established and efficient policies, procedures, and systems
