Therapist – Land of Mañana Counseling
Pay: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour
Land of Mañana Counseling is looking for a non-independently licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LPCC or LMFT) clinician to join our team. We're specifically seeking a provider experienced in working with children, with a preference for ages 6 and up. Clinician must be interested in working with this population. we are open to a candidate with mixed caseload of adults, children and adolescents but must be willing to work with children as well.

Job Summary
This position involves working closely with children and adolescents and adults experiencing mental health challenges, providing compassionate, trauma-informed care and support through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Duties
- Provide individual therapy sessions with a focus on children/adolescents, using evidence-based practices
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Accurately document client progress, using appropriate clinical terminology and DSM codes
- Complete session notes within 24 hours using SimplePractice
- Deliver trauma-informed care
- Maintain professionalism and quality of care with every client
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly individual supervision (based on caseload)
- Attend bi-weekly team/group supervision
Skills
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and the clinical team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Strong organizational skills for timely treatment plans and session notes
We use SimplePractice as our EHR system. Experience with it is a plus, but training is provided.
Caseload-Based Benefits
- 15+ clients/week average: Licensure fee and NIL testing fee reimbursement (testing reimbursement requires a 1-year commitment or repayment of fees)
- 20+ clients/week average: All of the above, plus $400/year CEU reimbursement. Open to proposals for higher-cost trainings (EMDR, IFS, Play Therapy, etc.) with a 1-year contract commitment
- 25+ clients/week average: All of the above, plus a $200/month health insurance/wellness stipend added to your paycheck
Expected Hours: 15+ clients per week
