About Haven

Haven Health Therapy is a Telehealth practice serving teens, adults, and parents/caregivers across Florida. We specialize in identity-affirming mental health care for neurodivergent, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth, with a mission to make therapy safe, supportive, and accessible.

We’re looking for licensed therapists who are passionate about working with adolescents, adults (ages 13–45) and caregivers/parents. You’ll provide individual and group mental health therapy virtually, through our HIPAA-compliant platform, supported by a mission-driven team that truly values your voice and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and provide diagnosis (within scope of licensure) to identify clients mental health needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed approaches).
• Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals that support client growth, recovery, and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards.
• Participate in monthly check-ins with Haven leadership.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Founder to ensure the client experience reflects Haven’s mission and values (not a micromanaged role).
• Uphold Haven Health’s mission of identity-affirming, accessible care.

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist or similar - requires masters or doctorate degree)
• Availability for 10–30 client sessions/week (you choose your schedule, Mon–Sun, 8 AM–8 PM).
• Must carry and maintain professional liability insurance (proof required).
• Must be able to successfully pass a Level 2 background check.
• Experience (or strong interest) in working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth and young adult populations
• Tech-comfortable, reliable internet connection and able to provide seamless therapy virtually from a private space
• Passion for affirming and supporting marginalized identities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with teens, adults, caregivers and identity-affirming therapy
• Group therapy experience (training and materials provided).
• Interest in facilitating non-clinical virtual support groups (extra pay).
• Local to major metro areas in Florida (Miami, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Fort Myers/Naples) for occasional optional retreats/events.
• Alignment with identity-affirming, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
• Strong values around autonomy, transparency, and flexibility.

Pay

• $50-75/hr based on experience.
• Protection pay for no-shows
