Mental Awakening Counseling is a growing private practice in Panama City Beach dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are seeking a fully licensed therapist who is passionate about helping clients and is looking for a long-term professional home where they can grow alongside our practice.

Our practice provides administrative support, marketing, insurance credentialing assistance, and a collaborative team environment so you can focus on what you do best, providing exceptional care to your clients.

We are seeking a full-time therapist to provide both in-person and telehealth services. After successful completion of the first 90 days of employment, therapists may be eligible for a hybrid schedule with one designated work-from-home day per week for telehealth appointments, based on performance, client needs, and practice needs.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing ethical, client-centered care.

Preferred

• Previous outpatient therapy experience.
• Specialized training in one or more evidence-based treatment modalities (EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, CPT, TF-CBT, etc.).
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, and/or couples is preferred but not required.
• Desire to establish a long-term career with a growing private practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality individual, family, and/or couples therapy.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards.
• Collaborate with referral sources and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Provide telehealth services as appropriate.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Compensation

• Base salary of $60,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience, training, and qualifications.
• Therapists are eligible for an uncapped monthly productivity bonus after exceeding 112 billable hours in a calendar month.
• For billable services provided above the 112-hour monthly threshold, the therapist receives a bonus equal to 50% of the amount the practice expects to receive for each qualifying service.
• Bonus compensation is based on the value of the qualifying service and is not dependent on when payment is received by the practice.
• With an average session value of approximately $100, each additional billable hour above the threshold generates approximately $50 in bonus compensation.
• Depending on productivity, total annual compensation may reach $80,000–$85,000+.
