Position Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate has 2 plus years experience and is passionate about mental health, values collaboration, and thrives in a flexible and supportive environment. Bonus if you also hold a supervision certification or are interested in getting one. This role involves providing individual and/or group therapy to a diverse clientele.
At the practice, we offer clinical supervision to provisionally licensed staff pursuing full licensure, and also group consultation to fully licensed staff. Our goal is to support your professional growth and help you meet your clinical hour requirements in a nurturing, team-focused setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy to clients in-person and/or via telehealth
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and Malpractice Insurance.
- Fully licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) in NJ.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical, client-centered care
- Experience with Trauma informed approaches A PLUS, not required, EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapy, ERP trained/certified A PLUS, not required, CBT and DBT knowledge A PLUS, Supervision Certification or interest in getting a certification, A PLUS, not required
