About the role
Rogue Psych Consultants is seeking qualified mental health clinicians to provide in-person behavioral health services in skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, and residential care communities. Responsibilities include providing direct resident care, collaborating with facility staff, and completing PASRR II evaluations as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a mental health clinician with experience in primary care or medical settings and/or working with older adults. The ideal candidate values flexibility and autonomy and is interested in an independent contractor position that can be full-time or supplement a private practice or other employment.
Job Description
- Conduct individual therapy sessions, complete diagnostic evaluations, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide support to caregivers and interventions for families.
- Collaborate with prescribers regarding psychotropic medications to support effective symptom management.
- Conduct risk assessments as needed.
- Collaborate closely with facility staff to enhance resident care plans.
- Work in partnership with healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the facility's electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current Oregon license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD.
- Experience in geriatric care or a strong interest in working with older adults.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans.
- Previous experience in primary care or medical settings preferred.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned facilities.
