About the role
Unity Therapy Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) and Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) to join our growing private practice.
We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. This is an excellent opportunity for associates seeking to grow clinically while receiving support and gaining experience in a collaborative private practice setting.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other mental health concerns.
- Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and all required documentation within 48 hours of the client session, in accordance with practice and insurance requirements.
- Utilize evidence-based and client-centered therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment goals as clinically appropriate.
- Participate in supervision and consultation as required for associate licensure.
- Maintain professional boundaries and comply with HIPAA and applicable California regulations.
- Maintain active associate registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Participate in required trainings and practice meetings.
- Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends, with availability during peak hours, particularly 2:00 PM–6:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
- Current AMFT or ACSW registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families preferred.
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, or other evidence-based modalities is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish clinicians are highly encouraged to apply.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
