Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our mental health team, committed to providing exceptional care and support to diverse populations. In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical counseling services, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavior management techniques. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and trauma-focused interventions.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or co-occurring disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards and CPT coding requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to increase accessibility for clients across various settings.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Licensed Therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with current certification to practice independently.
• Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, or behavior management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to mental health services.
• Experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings or hospital environments with exposure to crisis management and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems along with familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote therapy delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; sensitivity to gender issues counseling and diverse cultural backgrounds is preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
