Mental Health Clinician-Counselor-LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD

Applicant MUST hold a valid clinical license to be considered for this position. Accepted licenses include LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Counselor to join our team. As a counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. Your expertise in psychotherapy and/or social work will be essential in helping clients overcome challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Hours

This is a part-time HYBRID position ranging from 10-20 hours per week. Minimum of 10 hours required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions to address various mental health concerns

-Provide play therapy to children ages 3–10. Eligibility to work with this age group will be determined based on candidate fit. Selected clinicians will receive play therapy training and may have the opportunity to provide play therapy based on demonstrated aptitude and clinical fit.

• Utilize psychotherapy techniques to help clients develop coping strategies and improve their mental health.
• Evaluate client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients

-Availability to work at least two evenings per week (in person) is required.

Experience

• Experience in providing client care in a clinical role
• Strong knowledge of various counseling modalities, including individual, family, and couples counseling approaches.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate, empathetic, and client-centered approach to care.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
