Master Licensed Social Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and behavioral health, with a focus on crisis intervention and addiction counseling. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues and social barriers.

Duties

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in acute distress.
• Facilitate counseling sessions focusing on addiction recovery and behavioral health.
• Implement motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in social work practices.
• Collaborate with community resources, including Section 8 housing programs, to support clients' needs.
• Participate in workforce development initiatives aimed at improving client employability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide childcare support as needed during family therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in crisis management and intervention strategies.
• Strong knowledge of addiction counseling principles and practices.
• Familiarity with behavioral health frameworks and community resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and training in social work practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
